FAQs
Do I have to be fit before I come to CrossFit Muskoka?
Nope. There is no pre-requisite level of fitness to attend our classes. We can and do tailor to all levels.
What shall I bring?
Yourself wearing comfortable gym clothing, trainers, and a water bottle as well as an open mind and a positive attitude!
What if I am injured?
We may tailor any workout around injuries and niggles. Let the coach know if you are unable to perform any movement and we will find you an alternative. We know it is frustrating to have an injury, but keeping the habit of training and staying around the gym environment may be helpful on the road of recovery.
Am I able to drop in?
Yes, absolutely! Purchase a single class pack and book your class here. Our classes are scaleable to all levels. We highly encourage you book online in advance, as our classes are capped at twelve people. Please note that drop in classes are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Do you have open gym?
Yes, please check our class schedule for times, which may vary. Purchase a single class or membership to access open gym and book in as normal.
Is there space to do my own training?
Class time is sacred, and as such, any training must be done outside of class time. The gym space is always at the Coach’s discretion.
What facilities do you have?
Our gym has three washrooms and one shower. We also have filtered water and complementary coffee in the morning.
What are your hold/no show policies?
Members who “no show” will be charged a $20 fee, if there is a special circumstance please let us know by midnight the same day so we can reverse it. Late cancellations are charged a $10 fee. We ask that you are mindful of other members and cancel class in advance. Members may pause their membership two times for calendar year for up to two weeks total, exceptions are made for mandated shutdowns and major surgeries. There are no holds May-September.
Drop in classes are valid for the class you have signed up for only. They are non refundable and non transferable.
